The Rover powered Brisca V8 Hotstox make their return to one of the country’s premier shale ovals as we take to the track at King’s Lynn on April 11th in our Neil Stuchbury Motors sponsored meeting.

The Hotstox were last at King’s Lynn in April of 2025. Paul Prest (#491) made a great start to the evening by taking victory in heat 1. Heat 2 was won by Gav Smith (#134) who would have been thrilled to have started his 2025 season with a win. The meeting final and the 2025 Supreme Championship was won by Paul Prest who retained his title. Prest made a strong start to his 2026 season with a heat win at Northampton two weeks ago and will be hoping for more success on April 11th. Smith is set to make his first appearance of the year at King’s Lynn.

The stars of the formula are scheduled to be on track on April 11th with World Champion Thomas Brighton (#329), former National Points champion Jon Brown (#288) and Scottish champion Dan Poole (#296) all set to appear. Northampton final winner Michael Boswell (#328) showed superb pace in our opening meeting of the season and may well be the man to beat at King’s Lynn.

There could be something special in the pits on April 11th as Lee Allen (#577) has been putting in the hours on his latest project in an attempt to make the meeting. With all being well, Lee hopes to be racing the former car of Molly Robson that was heavily damaged last year at Cowdenbeath. Lee rescued the car from the scrap pile and has built himself and fitted a 4.0 litre Rover engine. Lee estimates that the entire car has been put together for less than £4000, it will be interesting to see how it goes on track! Lee hopes to be on track alongside son Ben (#477), father and son duo Mark (#276) and Dan Poole (#296) are booked to appear as well as father and daughter Mike (#369) and Ruby Lomax (#269)!
