In an addition to our published fixture list, the Brisca V8 Hotstox will compete at Skegness Raceway's Summer Special event on Tuesday 18th August, sponsored by J. Davidson Scrap Metal!

In our last visit to Skegness on August 6th, Frankie Burgess (#159) had arguably his best ever meeting in the Hotstox although his rival Timmy Aldridge (#257) was once again chasing him hard and showing little mercy to his less experienced counterpart. Frankie won both heats, including surviving a massive last bend lunge from Aldridge in heat 1. Aldridge won the meeting final, leading young stars Charlie Portman (#528) and Tom Dunne (#171) over the line. The Grand National provided a superb stock car race with plenty of hard but fair bumper work as the drivers scrapped for positions. Burgess came out on top again with Aldridge securing a very respectable 11th place from the one lap handicap.

August 18th will be the final opportunity for the drivers to race on the Skegness track before our World Final at the venue on October 10th. Who will leave Skegness on Tuesday evening feeling confident for the biggest event of the year?
