The Brisca V8 Hotstox make their annual appearance at Aldershot Raceway in one week at a meeting that marks the beginning of the qualifying rounds for the 2027 Brisca V8 Hotstox World Championship!

Just one week ago Thomas Brighton (#329) secured an incredible third Hotstox World Championship at the action-packed Skegness weekend. Thomas started on pole position and drove a near perfect race to claim back to back World titles. There was plenty of action and controversial moments and the drama could be set to continue at Aldershot. The World Final podium was completed by Evan Bullock (#110) and Camey Dorrell (#262) who are both scheduled to appear on October 25th.

Alongside the 2026 World Final podium finishers, several of the formula’s best will be in attendance and eager to start collecting points towards their starting position for the next World Final. Timmy Aldridge (#257) picked up two race wins over the Skegness weekend and will be looking for more of the same on October 25th. Timmy is a hard hitting driver with plenty of experience, if you aren’t familiar with the Hotstox formula keep an eye on the #257 car when the green flag drops. European Champion Tom Dunne (#171) is another driver who will fancy his chances around the tight Aldershot oval. Ruby Lomax (#369) enjoyed a successful weekend at Skegness and seems to have some newfound confidence, she’ll be hoping to use it to good effect next weekend.

The Hotstox last appeared at Aldershot in October 2025 and heat wins were taken by Nick Blach (#160) and Timmy Aldridge (#257) before the meeting final was won by Thomas Brighton (#329). With the end of the season rapidly approaching there aren’t many opportunities left for the drivers to try and get the better of their rivals and settle some scores. 2026 has seen some incredible action from the formula and it’s likely that there will be more of the same on October 25th
